  4. Spa Conditioner at fresh fill: 100ml per 1,000 litres, poured into the water with the pumps running.
  5. Spa Conditioner weekly: 50ml per 1,000 litres, once a week.
  6. Retest regularly and keep sanitiser at the level your spa manufacturer recommends.

Dosing guide

Fresh fill: 100ml per 1,000 litres. Once weekly: 50ml per 1,000 litres. Use your spa's actual filled water volume from the manual or specification plate, not the kit name. These doses apply to Spa Conditioner only; follow the product label for every other chemical.

How it works

A boxed NYViQ kit: Spa Conditioner, Stabilised Chlorine Granules, three balancers and 3-in-1 Test Strips. Both sizes contain 1 litre of conditioner in total.

Spa Conditioner is dosed by water volume. The sanitiser, balancers and strips are used according to their own labels and your test results.

Spa Conditioner is not a sanitiser. Having sanitiser, balancers and strips in the same kit makes it easier to keep the full routine in place.

Frequently asked questions

Is NYViQ Spa Conditioner a sanitiser?

No. It is a water conditioner. You still need to maintain a sanitiser such as chlorine or bromine as your spa manufacturer recommends.

How much Spa Conditioner do I add at fresh fill?

100ml per 1,000 litres of spa water. For example 150ml for a 1,500 litre spa.

How much do I add each week?

50ml per 1,000 litres once weekly. For example 37.5ml for 750 litres or 62.5ml for 1,250 litres.

How do I add it?

Pour it directly into the spa water with the pumps running. Do not premix it with other chemicals.

What volume should I use for the calculation?

Your spa's actual filled water volume, from the manual or specification plate. Do not guess from seat count.

How long does 1 litre last?

It depends on your water volume. At 1,000 litres, 1L gives 20 weekly doses if used only for maintenance, or the 100ml fresh-fill dose plus 18 weekly doses.

Is there a heavy-use dose?

No separate heavy-use dose has been approved. Use the standard doses and follow your spa manufacturer's guidance for sanitising under heavy use.

What do 500 and 1000 mean on the kits?

They are pack names, not spa sizes. A 500 kit contains two 500ml bottles of Spa Conditioner and 500g or 500ml packs of the other products. A 1000 kit contains one 1L bottle of Spa Conditioner and 1kg or 1L packs of the other products.

Do both kit sizes contain the same amount of conditioner?

Yes. Both contain 1 litre of Spa Conditioner in total: two 500ml bottles in the 500 kit, one 1L bottle in the 1000 kit.

Will everything in the kit run out at the same time?

Not necessarily. Conditioner use depends on water volume; sanitiser, balancers and strips depend on bathing load and water chemistry.

Where are the doses for the other products?

Follow the label on each product. This page only gives doses for Spa Conditioner.

Chlorine kit or ChloroKlean kit?

The Chlorine Kit uses stabilised chlorine granules; the ChloroKlean Kit uses ChloroKlean Plus L20 liquid. Follow the product label for either.
